   It is a well-known fact that significant gender bias exists in the theater world. As many active in making theater have realized, plays written by women are often a scarce commodity on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in local and regional theaters.

 In keeping with our mission to fully support women theater artists, all four plays in Off The Wall’s 2013-14 season are written by women, featuring three female directors, and numerous opportunities for female actors to perform on stage.  Click here for recent interview 

 Off The Wall designated the calendar year 2013 as The Year of the Woman, as our first two productions this year were also written by female playwrights, and featured one female director.
